Arnaud Montebourg, Ségolène Royal’s
spokesman, declared on a French television channel on the 18th of
January, 2007, that “Madame Royal’s only fault is her
partner François Hollande”.
Although he offered his excuses and his resignation
afterwards, Madame Royal suspended him for one month the following
day.
