The remarks made by
Segolene Royal on Tuesday, January 9, during a press conference
on the last day of her visit to China almost went unnoticed at the
moment she made them. Madame Royal recounted having met a lawyer
in Bejing who explained to her that “sometimes, the Chinese
Tribunals are more rapid than in France”… Madame Royal
added: “You see, before giving lessons to other countries,
let’s always look at the points of comparison…”.
When you know the summary justice meted out in China, you find that
this is beyond comment.
